Automated Insurance Coding Engine

for Mood Health

Implemented a hands-off, automated system of coding patient encounters in preparation for submission to insurance processing. Coding was based on a rules engine which interpreted diagnoses based on session notes of practitioners and was made easily configurable for any future rule changes. Project eliminated the need for coding done manually for each and every encounter a practitioner had with a patient.


Enterprise Data Warehouse

for Hibbett | City Gear (while at SandStorm IT)

Refactored and expanded City Gear’s Data Warehouse which processes billions of records nightly for all of its retail stores and drives operational reporting including report generation and delivery. Worked to integrate with Hibbett’s EDW post-acquisition.


EDvera, EDlumina

for Cyanna Education Services (while at SandStorm IT)

Further developed implementations for Cyanna’s Education Accreditation Management (EDvera) and Customer Relationship Management (EDlumina) systems. Worked closely with key individuals in both public and private post-secondary education credential governance organizations to craft bespoke functionality for their tenancies.


FedEx SenseAware

for FedEx Innovations (while at Mind Over Data)

Worked on the front-end UI, admin tool, and some of the back-end server piece of FedEx’s SenseAware service from the prototyping and design phases through the first years of its production operation. SenseAware is a real-time shipment monitoring service which collects, reports, and alerts on critical data regarding a shipment including information such as ambient temperature, location, shock, humidity, light exposure, and atmospheric pressure.


Watergate Wall at the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum

for The Richard Nixon Library and Museum (while at Mind Over Data)

Was the sole software developer for the multi-kiosk system in the Watergate Wall exhibition in the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum which guided visitors through the timeline of the Watergate scandal and was presented with news snippets and digitized audio of the Nixon tapes themselves.
