Ecommerce Migration and Integration (for Hibbett Sports | City Gear)
For this project, I had the opportunity to work on the ecommerce platform integration for a company with >$1B annual revenue. My role was to architect and help implement integration among Hibbett's Order Management System, City Gear's Distribution Center, City Gear's Point-of-Sale system, and City Gear's Inventory system. The solution includes monitoring and interruptive alerting upon exceptions as this is a highly business-critical component.
Enterprise Data Warehouse (for City Gear)
Refactor and expand City Gear's Data Warehouse which processes billions of records nightly for all of its 140+ retail stores and drives all operational reporting including report generation and delivery.
Ecommerce Operations Integration (for City Gear)
I worked with City Gear business team members to decipher the needs for an automated integration of CityGear.com, bringing together their SaaS order management system (OMS), their Distribution Center, and their Point-of-Sale system. With those needs understood, I architected a technical solution to integrate these systems.
I subsequently led the team responsible for the creation of the designed integration. This mission-critical system was automatically monitored 24/7/365 and alerted an on-call support developer in the event that manual intervention was required to resolve the exception at hand.
After the Hibbett Sports acquisition of City Gear in late 2018, I lead the technical team handling City Gear's side of the migration which required a complete re-design and re-implementation
